Skype Notifier

Do you rely on Skype and don't want to miss a Skype call or message? Maybe you want to auto respond to certain people?

This product started because Skype mobile was draining the battery on a client's new Android device. The solution we came up with was to make this Windows application that will run side by side with Skype on your Windows machine. When a call from a certain Skype contact comes in the Skype Notifier application will send an email to the Android phone. Then using other programs like IMO.chat, K9 email and Tasker certain rules can be setup to make the phone have a reminder that a Skype message was received from a certain user. This way Skype mobile did not have to be running on the Android device.

After we built this application we realized it could be used in so many more ways if it had the ability to have a few little rules that could be setup. The Skype Notifier application allows you to define a Skype from contact and type of message that was sent (call or message). Then you can define what action to be taken like send email or send Skype message. With these configuration options you can create auto-responders and forwarding.
